A fact with a cited source halfway through the quiz
What they do
Pick "improve focus + concentration" and "I get easily distracted" in the brain health quiz, and before the next question it stops on a single screen: "Did you know? The Safr'Inside™ Saffron in our Lion's Mane formula takes just 30 minutes for impact on your emotional wellbeing." Underneath sits the source: "As recorded in Heart Rate Variability (HRV) tests. Published study: Jackson P. A. et al. (2021), Frontiers in Nutrition; 7:606124." Then one Continue button. The progress bar reads 43%.
Why it works
It introduces the product before the quiz recommends it. Lion's Mane Plus is what turns up on the results page two screens later, so by the time it's recommended the customer has already heard one specific, cited reason to believe in it, and the recommendation reads as a conclusion rather than a pitch. The citation on screen does the authority work that a claim on its own can't. It also breaks up the run of questions, which is where quizzes lose people.
Makes sense when
Any quiz longer than three questions. One fact per quiz is plenty, and it should point at the product the answers are heading towards. In a regulated category like supplements, skincare or food, the claim has to be one you're allowed to make, and it needs a real source you'd be happy for a customer to look up.
