What they do

Product type, subtype, size, colour and offers, every option with a count beside it, so you know it's "Role Play (49)" before you tap. A drawer on a phone, a sidebar on desktop. Really clean. I'd add play type, though: Montessori, sustainable, that kind of thing.

02

Why it works

Counts stop dead ends, because nobody taps into an empty result. On a 273-product page, cutting straight to a toy type or a clothing size does more than a page of copy could. Play type is the gap: it's how plenty of parents shop for toys, and Montessori already has its own collection in the menu.

03

Makes sense when

Any collection with more than a few dozen products, as long as the tagging behind it's clean. One thing to tidy: "Discontinued (45)" is a filter option here, so 45 discontinued products are still sitting in the grid.
