What they do

Below the grid sits a "MEN'S WORKOUT SHIRTS" copy block, and it's not padding: the block carries 28 links out to related collections and categories, woven into the prose.

Why it works

Bottom-of-page copy is out of the shopper's way, so it can afford to be longer than the intro block, and the internal links are the real point: every crawl of this high-authority collection page passes relevance to 28 related pages, with descriptive anchor text doing the targeting. Pure SEO real estate, honestly used. Paired with the collapsed intro copy at the top, it's a two-tier approach: short and visible up top, deep and linked down below.

Makes sense when

Any collection page in a catalogue with enough related collections to link to. Write it for the crawler but keep it readable; if a human does scroll that far, gibberish costs trust. Anchor text should name the target collection, not say "click here".
