Shoppable videos with add to basket buttons
What they do
"Everyday wellness. Real routines, Real rituals" is a carousel of short vertical creator videos: a mum feeding her baby, a hand holding a box of Magnesium, a stack of protein pancakes, a pouch of High Fibre Plus. The centre video plays muted, with sound and pause controls. Under each one is a product card with the name, the price and a "+" button that adds it to the basket. It's built with Videowise and only loads when it's scrolled into view.
Why it works
Videos of real people using the product in a real morning do what a product photo of an amber jar can't: they show where it fits in someone's day. Putting the add button under the video removes the hop to the product page, which is where most shoppable content loses people. Loading it on scroll keeps a heavy widget from slowing the top of the homepage.
Makes sense when
Brands with a creator or UGC programme already producing short-form video. Without a steady supply of new clips it goes stale fast. Keep it lazy-loaded, and check what it does to page speed on a mid-range phone before it goes anywhere near the top of the page.
