A points scheme that gives money back without cutting the price
What they do
99 points is £3 off, going up to £60 for 1,980 points. We bought a pushchair from them and went back for the accessories because we knew we had points to spend. This scheme closes on 16 October and a new one's on the way.
Why it works
Baby brands are strict about discounting, so a retailer can't just knock 10% off a £1,000 pram. Points give value back without touching the price, and they land on the next order, which is when you're buying the footmuff and the rain cover. £3 sounds small until the first order's a pram.
Makes sense when
Expensive products with plenty of accessories, sold under brands that won't let you discount. Points only work if people remember they've got them, so show the balance where they shop, not just on a rewards page.
